The Data/Graphics/Mapping Center staff use GIS (Geographic Information System) software to link data to a comprehensive map of the region. This integrated map is used to create radius studies, redistricting, or specialized queries based on any defined geographic area. Staff can prepare professional maps that put data to work, visualizing a message or trend or making information easier to grasp. Staff can also perform geocoding, the ability to geographically reference specific incidents or data.
