The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is an annual document
required by EDA that provides a current detailed description and future projections
of the socioeconomic condition of the Bi-State Region (Henry, Mercer and Rock
Island Counties, Illinois and Muscatine and Scott Counties, Iowa). This document
contains regional demographics and information on workforce, economy, infrastructure,
natural resources, economic development resources, and economic development goals
and strategies. The CEDS also sets goals and objectives for economic development
and lists planned projects.
